Style sheets offer you, the Web designer, far more flexibility and control
over typography than ordinary HTML tags.
- Style sheets can control many more properties than ordinary HTML tags. For
example, they can control first-line paragraph indentation and the spacing
that occurs after paragraph endings.
- A single linked style sheet can control any number of Web pages, imparting
a consistent appearance among them.
- Linked style sheets control the individual properties of each style. In
addition, you can override individual properties at the page or element
level. This provides far more flexibility than the all-or-nothing approach
of FrontPage Themes.
